Yesterday was the last day I'll see my dad this year, he'll return to work and be back again on April. Good thing he'll be here before my does on May, I think they haven't seen each other for like, two years. Then I could finally set up a good family portrait for all of us. We will miss you Papa, take care!

While waiting for this flight, my camwhore sister asked me to take pictures of her, specifically asking for the city lights setting like this pic. Pretty pretty bokeh :)


SADLY, I didn't get the same outcome because her shitty hands are too shaky so ALL of my pictures are like this. BTW, that's the Battlefield 3 shirt I got from Datablitz. I ran out of sizes coz I only took my copy two days after the release. However, I still look good anyway. :P

I got excited when I first saw Pepper Lunch on the works at SM Megamall months ago and I've been hearing a lot of raves about how original their sizzling pepper steak is. I find their other locations too far so I really anticipated this branch in Megamall.


The place was roomy and I like their interior too, those comfortable couches and cushioned chairs makes you want to just lounge around and pass time, I wish they had their own wi-fi though.

I'm so happy and thank God my sis and I were able to pull out our first ever photobooth event. Thanks to Bam and his family for being so nice, I hope they'd get me again next year LOL. A lot has happened and I'll make sure I'm gonna do better on my next client! =)

I just had issues with Multiply's AutoUploader feature. It's so laggy and it keeps uploading unnecessary pictures even if I turn it off, so I deleted the crappy app on my system immediately. Then, I made a Flickr account...but checking image limit per month is only up to 300mb. Assuming I had a lot of gigs next month...then 300mb won't be enough (wahahahahaha) so I thought of Facebook.

It was meant to upload individual shots but to my horror Facebook only accepts 200 photos in one go, I just had 350+ images on me right now and I'm too lazy to repeat the process soooo...I'm back to Multiply's ancient uploader which ONLY works in Firefox. Screw you Chrome. >_<

I hope I could get more clients soon! =)

I've got a ton of ideas on my mind when it comes to layouts, I guess I will just let my creativity do the rest! I was also happy coz the other day, I became part of Weddings at Work and Philippine Wedding Scenes ^_^

I was so happy with what I bought the other day, a Prolite DS150 professional studio flash. I got it at D'24k in Hidalgo, Quaipo (yes, I can go there by myself now lol) and I'm gonna use it for business purposes of course, but I had to test it first hahaha! It comes with a 9ft steel stand, a 40x60 softbox and hot shoe. At first, I had a hard time looking for the right settings to make the light appear flattering on the skin, but the greatest thing about having a camera club is that they're always to the rescue at every question you have about your photo's flaws hehe. After adjusting the aperture and the flash power itself, yey! I got my first studio-like photo right at my home :D I'm planning to get a reflector soon, I just used a ghetto reflector (read: my dad's old car sunshade) but it still works like a charm :3 It's still visible on the eyes right? :)

I know this is a really old game, but this is probably the only racing video game that I can play without even getting tired of it. I have this on my PSP too (Burnout Dominator and Burnout Legends), but when I first saw this years ago, I wanna try it! Unfortunately, I do not have any console games (I only own handheld games) T_T.  I was able to play this last year but on someone else's laptop. Booo. Anyway, I really like the fast pacing action of this game, not to mention the adrenalin rush given by the roadrage and some takedowns in between. =) Maybe I should get a controller now.... T_T

I had fun creating new Lightroom 3 presets and this was the newest and I'm calling it Something Pink. LOL. I took it from the default Aged Photo preset and did some split toning of greens and blue hues..and ta-da! I got a romantic, pink-ish tone perfect for ambient light photos just like the one that I took here. :)

Ahh that long weekend was so much fun, I'd die to get there again! My mom, sis and I went to Bohol last month, taking advantage of that long weekend (almost 4 days LOL) and had a blast in Bohol and Cebu. Yeah, I wish you were there with me... I invited you a lot of times, didn't I? But, yeah work's more important LOL just don't get too stressed out, you know I will always care for you no matter what happens ^_^

Anyway, we got there at almost 12pm and we were so blessed to have a really sunny weather on the entire duration of our vacation. I brought Teej and the gang with me so I was excited to take pictures everywhere. Our first stop was the man-made forest located in between the towns of Loboc and Bilar, and according to our  tour guide-slash-driver, the people of Bohol planted all those mahogany trees for preservation. It was such a relaxing sight while driving along that road, overshadowed by those trees that felt Twilight-ish because of their height and yeah, they're so many you'd get lost if you went too far away.
