It's been weeks and my clay blocks are still unopened coz I cannot start without having any tools with me. I refuse to trust my fingertips anymore to make another fig..and I'm inspired coz those guys at the Sculpey booth liked my Tenori Tiger and asked me how I did it. LOL. But they noticed how terrible the paint job was, but it's ok, I was still able to show it off anyway. =)
So I searched online to look for the most basic tools and I found Makin's Clay and they had the cheapest accessories for a newbie like me. Haha. I found them at Pop Culture in Market Market. Quite surprising I didn't notice about it coz I always go there almost every other day. Some routine I could never get rid of. Anyway, here's their tiny space and their cabinet full of goodies.

I wish to own a console (say, XBOX360 or PS3) and play these two games. Heheh. I've been a fan of horror games (I miss Fatal Frame and Silent Hill) and I think these games will give my sleepy gamer self a kick. It's kinda catchy for me when a girl's the main protagonist in a game like Jill, Samus, Rayne, Bayonetta, and Lightning..but that doesn't mean my fondness for Gordon Freeman and Kratos has gone down. LOL. Those two are teh hotness.
I like the story of Catherine, those guys who made the Persona series did an awesome job again. I'm really curious on how many endings would this game have. The boxart of the PS3 game looked better and sexier than the XBOX360 game lol. Too bad they don't have it on PC yet.
Next is Alice The Madness returns. I was too late to find out that they had this on PC. I like the macabre setting of the game where the game trailer, has made me forget about the cutesy image of Alice in my head. I miss playing these games! :(
I couldn't find a better box art than those. Not much of an XBOX360 fan though but I know someone who is... :) If I'm gonna get my own console, I would wish we could still play together... ILYSM Hachi :)

Whatscherwantsschergets talaga... Typhoon Falcon has unleashed it's might that night and there I was, happily strolling at Gateway Mall just to get my little fig. The bus ride to Cubao was longer than usual due to the very, very bad weather (my umbrella gave up on me lol) but I managed it by sleeping for like, almost an hour just to make it to the place hehe. Then I got little MitMit again! ^_^ He's such a little adorable green thing... He reminds me of someone who's such an Android geek, so I intend to give this away soon.
Anyway, I've been on this huge food trip week lately (it's QQweek lol) so I tried Chic-Boy at their branch in Araneta Center. Looks like this is just a newly opened branch coz the other part of the place is still being renovated.
Anyway, the that's the spacious counter. The ambiance feels home-y and warm. Feels like you just entered someone else's kitchen. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
Weee~ Danbo and MitMit likes it here :3
Chic-Boy coz, Chicken + Baboy. LOL. Plain and simple. I saw their website and some branches are open for 24 hours. Hehe..navigating at the site makes me feel like I'm grilling something because of that animated fire cursor.
I dunno what soup this is. Tastes like pork. I still prefer Mang Inasal's sinigang soup.
For less than Php150.00 you're all set for a good order of Pinoy food + unlimited rice and refillable iced-tea.
I ordered Cebu Lechon Liempo coz of some high recommendation I got from a friend. Well, I thought of trying their Chicken Inasal at first but I guess it won't hurt if I try it this time. I like how they offer free garlic bits to add it to my plain rice so I could have free garlic rice on my plate. Weeee~ (i'm a fan of sinangag :3)
I like how the liempo tastes, even without the Mang Tomas sauce, the meat is juicy and tasty. LOL I even tried pouring chicken oil on it (the usual inasal way) but it still tastes good. I find it weird tasting something funny while chewing the meat. I get to chew some leafy substance which I guess they used while grilling the meat.
I guess I'll comeback this week at their Boni Ave. branch. Just one jeepney ride away from our office. Then I'll try their Chicken Inasal at that time. LOL..and oh, I guess the typhoon's gonna leave this coming week so I can go anywhere without any hassles. =)

Dear Dunkin Donuts, please increase your deliveries of this heavenly Creamy Choco Donut in all of your branches. Or just at the Mini Stop branch at our office building. This baby is closer to that Premium Choco Donut I had when I visited Dunkin Donuts Cafe at The Fort. I think I went back to get two, or even three maybe. LOL. So please please please....DON'T STOP BEING SO AWESOME IN MAKING THIS DONUT, ok? BTW, your Bavarian donuts aint as creamy as before anymore...my mom likes it. =)

It was a great bonding night for me and bestfriend at Ace Water Spa in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. She got this buy one, take one promo for their new site there. Back then I thought we'd fly to QC just to have ourselves pampered but I was glad about the new branch they had that's just a taxi ride away from our office. When we arrived, the place looked like a high-rise condominium that's still in the works, so it smells like paint all over LOL.
For Php550.00, you can access every facility at the spa and for those who failed to bring their swimming gear, they also have rentals for swimsuits and towels for Php200.00 each. Yes..you have to wear a swimsuit and a red swimming cap (wtf why red?) within the premises. The reason? Loose clothes will just flow freely around the water so the water pressure won't press much on your body--which is the form of massage you are getting at this place.
It was so neat there, from the entrance to the lockers and of course the pools and spa itself. This is the locker room and here's what their lockers look like..spacious eh? You just leave your shoes at the rack by the entrace and walk barefoot if you don't have slippers LOL. The path to the right leads to the spa area and those were the shower stalls, btw. Each stall has a hot and cold shower, free liquid soap(which smells like hand sanitizers lol) and shampoo. Good thing I brought conditioner with me coz that's something I would never step out of the shower without having it on me. LOL. Even when I'm on a trip or have sleepover somewhere, I always get irritated when I ran out of hair conditioners. :D They also have hair blowers for us to use (you have to wait for your turn of course) and extra plastic bags for your wet clothes. That's the big pool for all those Mark Spitz wannabes out there who would snub the spa which is at the right side. What I liked the most are the hot water pools. They got these 4 scented pools, but I like the Jasmine pool better coz it's the hottest(i think) at 40°C. I felt the tension on my muscles melted away by taking a long dip at that pool...oooh I wanna go back! We also tried the Sauna..LOL we were laughing inside coz we didn't know the steam's too unbearable for our face hahaha! So we thought of the purpose of dipping first in cold water before entering the Sauna. We didn't even stay longer than 3 minutes there lol.
I also liked how their resto-bar looked like. The interior could pass as something a hotel should have. It's spacious but it's sad we weren't able to try out their food. Boooo~
So after checking out, we went to Tapa King which is just a few blocks away from D' Ace Plaza.
The Menu =)
The place was small and cozy, I like the interior. The red walls and chairs screams Tapa King all over coz that's their signature color.
Fatz ordered Tapa Queen, a sweet and spicy version of their original Tapa King. I tried it but my hate for spicy food kicked in so I don't like it na agad LOL.Tapa Queen is looks moist and juicier than the Tapa King, and puh-leezzz their servings are too small! Just look at how few the meat was on my plate!
But I liked their sinangag...compared to Sinangag Express, where their sinangag doesn't taste like sinangag at all. Tapa King's sinangag tastes garlic-y. =)

I just learned from Nendoroid Philippines(a fanpage on FB that I always look up to ^^,) and TomoPop that there's news of having an Aisaka Taiga nendo! I just pre-ordered a Nendoroid Petit of her, the one in a swimsuit so having her in a regular nendo size is a treat! This scan is such a tease though, she comes with Tenori Tiger and her bouken which she used to beat up Ryuuji at the earlier part of the series. I'm so gonna get her! Yep, another item added to my wishlist :)

Here's the last part of making my DIY Tenori Tiger. The figure I made last time dried overnight so then I went ahead and traced the face and its stripes using a pencil (good thing I don't suck at drawing >:)) This served as my guide before coloring it and making final touches using a a permanent marker.
Here are the materials I used, I bought kid's paint in white and orange colors, a cheap brush and a marker.
I had to mix white and orange together to make a lighter shade of orange.
Painting the face first, then the rest of it body...
Done painting...so I let it dry overnight before tracing it again using a permanent marker. The pic doesn't show the initial tracing I made using a pencil, but its visible in the actual fig.
So the paint job is done! It's not too smoooottthhh T_T I guess I put too much color on it.. but I still like it!
What are you looking at???
*insert evil laugh here* >:) I'm done with my custom fig! I'm happy with the results hehe...Update: The paint job has gone smoother as the figure dries completely. I think I wont put a topcoat of gloss on this one. Hehe.

The hype about the Lunar Eclipse was too much so I decided to join in and take pictures of the bloody moon. LOL. I only have a kit lens with me and my trusty tripod. So I went out with my sister and took shots of the moon. :) It's so small... I just took a picture of the entire sky instead... but hey, the moon still looks red!
A shooting star! I made a wish of course...and yeah...you're in it =)
