First Look: Nendoroid Elsa

"The cold never bothered me anyway..." Oh I am super excited for today's blog post as she is one of the most anticipated Nendoroid from last year! I still remember how excited I was when I found out on Twitter first, it was Summer WonFes 2014 when she was announced and those who are at the con were super lucky to catch a glimpse of her prototype!

A year ago, GSC shared this teaser at Summer Wonfes last year on Twitter and everyone got really excited, including me!!!

Now here she is! Say hello to the Queen of Arendelle, Nendoroid Elsa! It's amazing that GSC will ever be fond of making Disney characters as Nendoroids, and it's been quite a while too! (they made a Nendoroid Mickey and Minnie) At that time when Nendoroid Elsa was announced, the Frozen hype is still high so it's very timely that they're making a Nendoroid version of her, so why not? :D

Nendoroid Elsa comes with a free background that you can use for your figure photos. It's a pretty view of her kingdom, Arendelle so she looks really at home!

You shouldn't ignore these backdrops or else GSC will stop making them for us. LOL jk.

The blister pack comes with the figure, 2 additional faceplates, extra arms, a snowflake part, Olaf and a special base. No stand included since this nendoroid can stand on her own, thanks to her extended cape.

The base is quite big and it has Elsa's trademark snowflake emblem on it which makes it really special.

You'd never see the Queen of Arendelle as cute as this and we have to thank GSC for that. From the brushed up hair to her dress, they really did well in making a chibified version of Elsa! Dressed in her most popular outfit, the glittered top and the gradient on her skirt looks really great and the faded shading is visible in any lighting.

My most favorite part of her dress is her semi-transparent cape, it's also glittery and the print of her emblem is a nice touch.

A slit on her skirt shows her tiny detailed blue pumps.

She comes with 3 faceplates: a half smiling face, which looks really cute and charming!

A singing faceplate, so you could recreate that famous scene where's she's singing the movie's theme song at her ice castle!

I was humming while doing the shoot though. That's one of the effects figure photography's giving me, you'll get so drawn to the figure while doing the shoot. If you know what I mean. XD

..and my most favorite, her trademark smirking face! I'm so happy they made justice to Elsa's iconic face!

They added a tiny snowflake accessory to put on her hand for fans to recreate her most popular look!

Olaf, the snowman who wants warm hugs is also included! Hey Olaf, how's th... oh..

"WHERE'S MY NOSE?! I've always wanted a nose!"

"QUEEN ELSA, HELP!!! Can you make me a new nose? PLEASE!"

"You mean this?" *zap*

"THANK YOU! Thank you my queen! Doesn't look like a teeny baby unicorn, but it looks better now......oh hello there!

Hi, I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!

They look good together side by side, she's the one who created Olaf after all. ;)

Feeling Crafty Series: Heichou's Kitchen

I should call this the #feelingcrafty series. XD I've started making stuff for my toys lately and I've already posted shots on my page of the bedroom series, but I'm more fascinated with my work here for my babies' kitchen!

Today's set is all about Heichou's day off. We all know how hardworking our beloved Heichou is, like killing titans and commanding his squad for the wall's defense, he still showed us how truly domesticated he is and it's greatly portrayed by his Nendoroid which is one of my favorites XD.

He's quite something, I tell you...He's very handy around the house!

He washes the dishes.

He cleans the cupboards.

He loves to sweep the flo......"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?! I'M BUSY!!!"

Hai, hai~ Oh, that cute tsun-tsun face! He's such a hasubando material, don't you think? XD

But ta-da~ Here's what Heichou made for breakfast~

I made the entire kitchen set (cupboard, counter, condiments and food) using foamboard and polymer clay, except for the tea set, chairs and table. XD Looking at this makes me want to sit down and eat that sandwich!

ITADAKIMASU~

Mayoi-chan can't help but eat the delicious breakfast that Heichou prepared!

HACHIKUJI! Don't play with your food!!!

...And don't be so messy I still have other guests coming for breakfast!!!

True enough, the Hatsune sisters came in, just in time for coffee!

They look so adorable together!

Oh, look! Guts came along too! I think he wants some croquettes for breakfast!

Heichou, we need more coffee!

WHAT?! I just finished brewing! How many cups of coffee can you girls take?!

After all that hard work and a bit of a grumpiness aside, he's still our favorite Heichou as always! Just look at that adorable face, it makes me want to kiss him and pinch those cheeks! Oh, he must finish cleaning up the dishes first!

Next on my #feelingcrafty series will be the bedroom set! It's quite hard to make actually because I wanted to be consistent with the lighting that I used, which I know you've already seen as I've posted them on my fanpage already!

Nendoroid Halloween Costume Party

I felt that I was done making a spooky Halloween themed shoot for Halloween, so I thought of creating something cute this time, involving most of my Nendoroids. Since I made that birthday party setup, I began to like giving them parties because they all seem to become so lively! So this year, it's a Halloween Costume Party for my babies!

Basically it's like Dress-like-a-Nendoroid for your costume hahaha! I made them swap pieces and I think you could tell which piece belongs to who ;). This is also the first time I took so much photos, so I hope you enjoy the entire set! :)

The guests of the Halloween Party are Ryuko, Sayaka, Sakura, Mako, Wo, Mayoi, Taiga and Heichou! They all look so adorable!

Ryuko-chan came in dressed up casually!

This cute pair dressed up as Ryuko and Mako, but where's your Scissor Blade, Sakura-chan?

The party table is filled with so much food like candy canes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin brownies, cupcakes and even ghost cookies!

Sayaka: "They all look so tasty! What shall I eat?"

Isn't this the cutest ever? Wo-chan dressed as Halloween Miku, with cute bat wings for her hair!

Taiga-chan came too!

You want some drinks, Gutz?

The honorable leader of the Survey Corps, Levi Heichou was there too!

"I shall take you to the depths of the sea!" Mako seems to be so in-character while wearing Wo-chan's costume. But then she saw the food on the table...

Mako: "Aaaahh! So much food!"

"Guts! Guts! Guts! Let's finish this then go back to the table again!"

"Since you can't eat table food, I brought you some croquettes!"

Now someone has found the bottle of champagne and began pouring drinks for everyone!

Me: "Hey Wo-chan, you look awfully red tonight!"

Wo: "Wo?"

Mako-chan: "Wo-chan! Cheers!"

"Wo?"

Pouring drinks for everyone at the party!

Heichou: "So hey, what's up with the bat wings?"

Wo: "Wo?"

Uh-oh, someone is having too much drinks already... -_-

Mako: "Oh yeah, then Gamagoori-senpai says he wants to go out and see a movie with me! Nyahahahaha!"

Mako: "I was like, nyahahahaha you're too big to fit inside the movie! You'll block everyone else's view nyahahahaha!"

Ryuko: "Hey, you're drunk!"

Mako: "No, I'm not! I can still jump so high and do this..."

Ryuko-chaaaaaaan~!

Levi: "Get a grip, Mako!"

Heichou can't seem to take it anymore he gave Mako-chan a beating to calm her shit down.

Mako: "Ryuko-chaaaannn..."

After that, Mako-slept until morning! What a party pooper she is!

Oh, then there's Miku-chan dressed up as Princess Frankenstein! Isn't she lovely? :D

And that sums up what happened at the Halloween Costume party! I really enjoyed creating this set and swaping Nendoroid parts is so fun, it gives them a different personality! How about you guys, did you also party last Halloween?
